Kip & Anne
Hi, I’m Kip. My wife Anne and I spend time between our home in North Carolina and her home country of France in Provence and the southern Alps. We have three children at various stages of young adulthood, with one in school at NC State University. We love to travel and spend as much time outdoors as possible. Passions include any kind of cycling (mountain bike, bikepacking, road, tandem), hiking and multi-day backpacking, skiing and discovering this wonderful world! We love to spend time with old friends and make new ones and are truly blessed to know some of the best, most genuine people one can imagine. If we have to decline an invitation for an adventure, its usually because we’ve already scheduled something at the same time!
On that note, some of the best area we have found for beauty and adventure is right here in the NC mountains. With our great co-hosting friends, we invite you to discover and enjoy the amazing environment around our cabin locations while having a comfortable place to relax!
Cam & Lisa
My wife, Lisa, and I both have careers that keep us extremely busy. Lisa is a very skilled Registered Nurse working for the US government in a veteran’s critical care facility and I am a Chief Operations Officer for an automation company. Every chance we break away for a weekend or extended stay in some of the most beautiful places in the world.
While we love the impressive history and architecture we find in places like NYC, Toronto, or Paris, our true pleasure comes from rural and natural areas across the US, Canada, European Alps, Central, & South America. And there are many others we still have plans to visit!
Our home is in Taylorsville, NC where we have a small gentleman’s farm with horses, goats, chickens, ducks, etc. I am originally from a rural area of Maine, USA called “The County” and Lisa is right at home as we are the 3rd generation to live on our farm – called “Jumping Run” after the small creek that borders the property.
While we love to travel, we have found the most peaceful and exciting adventures very close to home in the Blue Ridge Mountains and foothills of North Carolina. We love it so much that we have partnered with wonderful friends that we do much of our traveling with and provide cottages in places specifically chosen for location in relation to beautiful and scenic outdoor recreation & quaint mountain villages. When these cottages are not occupied we are enjoying one them ourselves!
